How the subtitle timings are made
Each subtitle follows a spoken phrase from the transcript and is kept to short lines that are easy to read on screen. The times come from the spoken words themselves: a subtitle appears when the speaker starts saying it and leaves when they finish, even when a long phrase is split between words across several cues. Check fast passages and overlapping voices before you publish.
SRT is the plain subtitle format that editors and players read almost everywhere: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut and VLC all open it, and so do the subtitle upload forms of most publishing platforms. VTT carries the same cues in the form used by players built into web pages, so pick it when the subtitles are for a website.
Free accounts can download subtitles for the unlocked first 15 min of each transcript, and the file simply ends there. Sync Pro downloads cover the whole recording. Plain text is available from the same menu if you want the words without timings.

Questions
How accurate are the subtitle timings?
The transcript keeps the timing of the spoken words, so each cue starts when its text begins to be spoken and ends when it is finished. A sentence too long for one cue is split between words, and each part keeps its own times. Check fast exchanges and overlapping speech in your editor before you publish.
How do I make an SRT file for subtitles?
Upload the audio here, let it transcribe, then open the transcript in your library and choose SRT from the Download menu. The file is plain text with numbered cues, so you can correct names in any text editor before you use it.
What is an SRT file?
An SRT file, also called SubRip, is a plain-text subtitle file. Each cue has a number, a start and end time and the text to show. Almost every editing program and media player can load it.
Can free users download SRT?
Yes, for the unlocked first 15 min of each transcript. The subtitle file ends where the free preview ends, without any extra cue added. Sync Pro downloads the whole recording.
