Serbian comes back in Latin, not Cyrillic
Serbian (srpski, српски) is written in two alphabets, and the transcript uses only one of them: Latin, with č, ć, dž, đ, lj, nj, š and ž. In our own test we played a clip read from a Cyrillic script, and the text came back in Latin letters. If you need Cyrillic, for an official document or a school text, convert the checked transcript with a Latin-to-Cyrillic tool. The two alphabets map letter for letter, and lj, nj and dž usually become one Cyrillic letter each, but in a few words they are two sounds, as in "injekcija" (инјекција), so check those by hand.
The picker entry stands for Serbian as spoken in Serbia, with ekavian forms such as "mleko" and "vreme". Speakers from Bosnia or Montenegro who say "mlijeko" can still use it, but read the spelling afterwards; for Croatian speech, choose Croatian instead. Detection picks one language per file, so with languages this close it is safer to choose the language yourself.
Typical files are Viber and WhatsApp voice notes between Serbia and relatives abroad, recorded online meetings, interviews and lectures. WhatsApp's own voice transcription doesn't list Serbian as of now, so save the voice note and upload it. English words in IT or business talk usually stay as spoken; the transcript is in Serbian and is not translated.

Questions
Can I get the transcript in Cyrillic?
Not directly. SeaMeet returns Serbian in Latin script, even when the speaker reads from a Cyrillic text. If you need Cyrillic, convert the checked transcript with a Latin-to-Cyrillic tool, and check words where lj, nj or dž are two separate sounds.
What if my file isn't Serbian?
Choose the language that is spoken, for example Croatian, Bulgarian or English, or pick automatic detection. If the transcript sounds like another language, one click transcribes the file again in that language.
Does it handle ijekavian speech from Bosnia or Montenegro?
You can use the Serbian entry for it, but it stands for Serbian as spoken in Serbia, so the spelling of words like "mlijeko" may not follow the speaker. Read the text before you share it. For Croatian speech, choose Croatian.
Can I transcribe a Serbian Viber or WhatsApp voice note?
Yes. Save the voice note to your phone or computer, then upload the audio file here with Serbian selected. You get a Latin-script transcript with speaker labels that stays in your Library.
Is Serbian transcription free?
Yes, within the free limits: 6 h of transcription in total, and the first 15 min of each transcript readable on the free plan. Sync Pro unlocks full transcripts.
