Bulgarian Cyrillic, not Russian and not shlyokavitsa
The transcript is written in Bulgarian Cyrillic (български), with the letters that set it apart from Russian: ъ in the middle of words such as път and къща, щ for the sound "sht", and no ы or э. It is not written in shlyokavitsa, the Latin-letter spelling people type in chats; if you need Latin letters, convert the checked text with a separate tool.
Choose Bulgarian, or let SeaMeet detect it. A file is transcribed in one language, and to an untrained ear Bulgarian can sound close to Russian or Macedonian, so if a transcript reads like another language, set the picker to Bulgarian by hand and transcribe again. Work meetings in Bulgarian often borrow English terms, as in many languages; keep the picker on Bulgarian when most of the talk is Bulgarian.
Typical files are work meetings, university lectures, interviews, voice messages from Viber or WhatsApp, and family calls with relatives in Germany, Spain or the UK. Questions
What if my file isn't Bulgarian?
Choose the language that is spoken, or pick automatic detection. If the transcript reads like a different language, one click transcribes the same file again in that language, without another upload.
Will the transcript come out in Russian spelling?
It shouldn't. With Bulgarian selected, the transcript is written in Bulgarian spelling, with ъ inside words, щ, and no ы or э. If a file comes back looking Russian, check that the picker is set to Bulgarian rather than automatic detection and transcribe it again.
Can I get the text in Latin letters?
No. The transcript is in Cyrillic, the way Bulgarian is written. If you need shlyokavitsa or an official transliteration, for a form or a colleague abroad, convert the text you have checked with a separate tool.
What about English terms in a Bulgarian meeting?
Keep the picker on Bulgarian when most of the meeting is Bulgarian; each file is transcribed in one language. English product names and IT terms dropped into a sentence may be written as they sound, so check them before you share the text.
